ETA: I had to take down the link to the person's LJ - whatever - so I went directly to the source for the White Collar info:
a) Don't assume anything you see is what it seems.
b) Clue: it was set up from the beginning. How does Peter find Neal in the pilot?
ETA2: c) Next season I'm planning an episode where we see Peter catch Neal the first time.
