Finally on the rise again!

Supernatural's ratings are finally on the rise again: 2.63 mil. and 1.2/3 demo. A year or two ago, who would have thought that we would be happy about drawing 2.63 mil. viewers, huh? But at least we dropped only 34 thousand viewers at 9.30 (from 2.647 to 2.613 mil.). Though the retention out of The Vampire Diaries was horrible - barely 63%. TVD drew 3.86 mil. and 1.8/5 demo. Well, but we are on the rise again - which, as usually, comes right before the hiatus *head/desk*

"SUPERNATURAL saw a nice bump this week, building 8% with women 18-34 (1.4/4), 27% with women 18-49 (1.4/3) and 7% with total viewers (2.6mil). (...) And in its 5th season, SUPERNATURAL continues to build with year-to-year gains of 30% in adults 18-34 (1.3/4), 27% in women 18-34 (1.4/4) and 17% in women 18-49 (1.4/3)." Source

ETA2: Oh well, in the final numbers, SPN dropped to 2.58 mil. :( Still 110 thousand more than the week before so it's okay, but man!

Good news about the numbers, but..yeah right before the hiatus...wonder why they do that? Do they run new eppys when the other major networks have reruns, I wonder? I can't recall.

They need new eps to run during November sweeps. So there'll be a week long hiatus, then new eps through November till Thanksgiving. Then the show'll go on hiatus till Jan./Feb. 2010.

Yes. I hope that it'll be a plus in our column once it comes to renewals/cancellation at the end of the season *crosses fingers*
