You know, it's been a long while since I've felt as strong slash vibes as I feel now while watching NCIS:LA. I mean, G. and Sam? They push all my frickin' buttons.

*swoons* I have to admit that "size difference" - as in one partner is "bigger" than the other - is a kink of mine (Jared vs. Jensen anyone?). And on NCIS:LA? G looks positively tiny next to Sam. I mean, Chris O'Donnell is slim and wiry whereas LL Cool J is all Muscles - yes, with a capital M!

But it's not just that. Let's face it, G is the resident woobie. And Sam? Sam is so protective of him. The way he always follows G with his eyes, the way they... talk with just a glance or a smile. They are so utterly and absolutely comfortable with each other.

I hope that some awesome authors jump on this bandwagon because those two could be an utter delight to write about!

i just watched it, like just finished ep 3 and my slash buttons were pressed so hard i think that they broke
g to sam - i complete you
omg, they're more married than mcshep!
which i had nto thought possible!
G notices that sam's ears wiggle when he's avoiding something.....
and the fact that G drives a 2008 Impala just breaks my brain because that's Dean's car but modern (the scene in transformers..... with bumblebee, though i liked the older car)

G and Sam are simply wow! The new Bodie and Doyle, Starsky and Hutch... I just love that it's a "buddy cop" show!

*cough* I have to admit that I find the size difference a pleasant bonus when it comes to one of my favourite ships, John/Ronon. ;)

Oh yes! I'm still miffed that we didn't get any scenes where Ronon would carry John in his arms. I mean, he carried McKay twice *pouts* For me, the best Ronon/John eps were Common Ground and Search and Rescue! Ronon was so protective of John, of nobody but him, really.

Wouldn't that have been fantastic? Too bad we never got to see it happen. But at least we had the grab-ass game from Sunday and the hug from Return. *sigh* That hug was the best.

Search and Rescue was an amazing John/Ronon ep. They were going out together, like Butch and Sundance. I love manly warrior bond they've got going on.

Outcast was pretty good from a John/Ronon standpoint too. Dave clearly thought that Ronon was a little more than just a "civilian contractor". ;)

Oh yes, Outcast is one of my favorite episodes of the whole show! Dave really did think that Ronon was John's boyfriend, didn't he? :P And Ronon was hot, so HOT in jeans and the black t-shirt! Oh wow. I would so want to see a spin-off or a series about the two of them hunting aliens and/or bad guys on Earth all in black gear, kicking ass together!

Oh, and the audio commentary on the DVD was so incredibly funny!

I don't get why there aren't more John/Ronon fics! There are a lot of Ronon/Rodney fics - which is a pairing that I simply don't get - but so few John/Ronon ones. I feel like pouting! :(

That would have been awesome. They both looked practically edible in their earth clothes, and it would have been so much fun to see Ronon learning how to navigate earth society.

I don't have the season 4 DVDs. YET. If there's hilarious commentary, I definitely need to rectify that.

Ugh, Rodney/Ronon. That pairing just weirds me out (not as bad as Rodney/Teyla, but close). There are some new John/Ronon writers coming out of the woodwork though. Not nearly enough (but could there ever be enough?), but it's encouraging to see. :)

Hey, if you know of any good John/Ronon fics, could you rec them to me? There are never enough recs! :)

I'm pretty indifferent to size differences because it'd generally how the two interact that I'm interested in. And these two? Oof, so much slashiness right from the word "go"! I do, however, have a thing for partners getting together (that probably stems from too much X-Files as a child). Are people writing Sam/G fics? (Like, actually good ones?) I haven't started investigating yet.

I just love when my pairing is tickling this kink of mine. Especially when the "giant" is protective of the "midget" ;P And these two, wow! They totally got me with the slash O.O It's like the writers are intentionally stroking our collective slash ego.

And there are a few fics out there already. The best ones? http://smallwaldo.livejournal.com/tag/ncis:+la

I can totally see the appeal of the size difference though. And I definitely love protective!Sam because you're right: G is the resident woobie, it's true. And it's like the writers aren't even trying to unslash them! I mean, there are partnerships, and then there are partnerships. (The scene with the origami in the last ep was the best ting ever.)

Oo, thanks! I'll have to check out those fics! :)
