It's been a while since I rec'ed a fic or two. I've read many since then, but the ones that really stuck in my mind are...

Supernatural:
WINCEST --> "The common fate of all" by gretazreta. Dean Winchester works in insurance: brought up in foster care, he’s never hunted, never fired a gun, and never owned a car. Then, one day, he meets a guy called Sam. Words: 10.000+.

Stargate Atlantis:
OT4 --> "But Just Ourselves" by briar_pipe. John has a son, the team cares for them. MPREG! Words: -1.000.

MCSHEP --> "Consistently Weird (Roboclaw)" by wax jism. John loses his arm. Rodney builds him a new one. Words: 20.000+.

GEN --> "Unconditional" by kriadydragon. John is hurt and Sherbet helps him heal. OC: a cute animal. Other stories with Sherbet listed in the Author's Notes.

Also, I tried to find something to read in the NCIS fandom and OMG, the fics in this fandom are so lame! "He wrapped his eye around his shoulders." *snort* Lookie, a snail! Or "Call me Jethro." Right, like Gibbs would say something like that to Tony! *rolls eyes*

I finished reading Lynn Flewelling's "Shadows Return". I loved it! I didn't like that Seregil and Alec were separated for most of the book but I liked the angst. And the rhekaro was quite fascinating, wasn't it? And the ending... First it looked like Alec died, then Seregil... And everybody felt their passing. That was so sad X'(

Now, I picked up Faith Hunter's "Bloodring", part 1 of her Thorn St. Croix series. Hm, we will see. The cover looks awesome...

Shadows Return! ♥ Aww. It's such a happy book, to have so much angst. I was really intrigued by the fact that Seregil could be so... forgiving. It was a nice twist, to have him not be totally evil through and through. And the rest of it - all the worry for each other! I do like the worry. They're always in each other's thoughts, even if they're not together. It's sweet. And the sequel promises to be very interesting...!

I loved how much they cared for each other, especially at the very end. Alec caressing Seregil's face, asking Thero if Seregil would be okay. Seregil's pain as he held Alec's dead body... *sniff* And I love the rhekaro. I just hope that it won't suck the 'faie blood out of Alec making him human and thus short-lived. That would suck X(

Oh I've read 'The Common Fate Of All'. That was interesting. I initially thought that it was just another AU, I so didn't see that one coming, that Dean was actually in hell!

I also thought that it was another AU - which I would have loved too, of course - but wow, was I surprised or what? Dean's life was so bleak and depressing that I felt like crying X'(

What really annoys me is the fact that now, the tags are shuffled to the left and I usually orientate myself by the first tag that usually lists the show or genre. Now the first tag is somewhere in the middle of the site or whereever (depends on the number of tags used).
