J2 --> "Sweet Dreams Remain" by dark_reaction. Jensen is a bartender who has the shit luck of falling for a married man, or the cocktail waitress who ended Jared and Sandy's fabulous marriage. Words: 8.000+.

SPN:
WINCEST --> "What Remains" by walkawayslowly. This is the one where Dean loses his memory and himself, and Sam has to find both. Words: almost 40.000.

SGA:
MCSHEP --> "Senior Staff" by sheafrotherdon. Sometimes John brings his laptop to meetings. Silly!

MCSHEP --> "Supersymmetry" by lallybroch. A little girl comes in through the gate claiming that Sheppard and McKay are her fathers. Series.

MCSHEP --> "Hindsight" by rageprufrock. Rodney is a brilliant scientist at Cheyenne Mountain and John is an FBI agent. Series.

MCSHEP --> "Bell Curve, or, Ladies Night at the Boom Boom Room" by rageprufrock. John is a bartender/stripper and Rodney is a professor at the CalSci. They meet in a strip bar. And then, the next day, they find out that John is, obviously, Rodney's new TA, too. Series.

And now two very similar fics in two different fandoms...
SGA: MCSHEP --> "taking the long way home" by sardonicsmiley. Rodney's John disappears and is replaced by various Johns from different realities, day by day. Words: 10.000+.

and

SPN: GEN --> "Interesting Times" by trollprincess. After a curse, Dean is visited by Sams from different realities. Words: 3.000+.

I have to admit that I don't read this year's big bang fics in order. I tried that and it didn't go well. I just read what catches my interest and then go back to the rest later. Sometimes, a fic might be excellent but when I don't feel like reading it at that moment, it totally ruins my enjoyment.

And aren't those two fics incredibly similar? In the SGA version, I adored the preggie!John that totally flustered poor Rodney XD
