You know, some critics say that the TV and the net take your time away from the so called "real life". But what is this real life? Sitting around in a bar with friends, getting drunk or stoned? Thanks, but no thanks. I prefer spending my time with my online buddies, chatting or reading fanfics/books etc. I hate it when people get drunk and most of my hobbies are so weird that I usually have nothing to talk about with my real life acquaintances, most of them being married with kids and all. So, yeah. Me = hermit! :D

In the TV.com forum, there is this discussion going around: Does Jensen Ackles smoke or not? Some folks saw him lightning one at the Asylum con with Jason Manns. Some forum attendees mind, some don't. I'm not sure what to think about it.

On the one hand, my mum and my dad smoked their whole life so I've lived around smokers and they don't bother me much. On the other hand, I don't smoke myself and I would never even try... And JA wanted to be a physiotherapist. I don't know *shakes head* But I prefer him being a smoker than a junkie or an alcoholic *nods*

I finally got around watching The Sarah Connor Chronicles and I must say that this one is definitely a keeper...

I love Lena Headey in the role of Sarah Connor. She is pretty but no sexy bombshell, she is strong without trying to play a man. I like her a lot! And I like Thomas Dekker as John Connor. He does the teary eyed look so well! :D And Summer Glau as Cameron is quite good too. She has a great stone face while she fights :D

What made me laugh? Agent James Ellison!!! The Sentinel anyone? :D And Agent Ellison reminded me a lot of Agent Henriksen from Supernatural. At first, I even thought that they are played by the same actor.

Great action sequences, great F/X. Although I'm still not sure why they returned back to the year 1997 when they could have destroyed that corporation in 1999 *scratches head*

And if you need another reason to watch it, David Nutter directed the pilot! :)

So, my shows now will be...

Watching now:
Eureka - Tuesday
Psych - Friday

Comes Autumn:
Chuck - Monday - Sept. 24th
Heroes - Monday - Sept. 24th
Bones - Tuesday - Sept. 25th
NCIS - Tuesday - Sept. 25th
Supernatural - Thursday - Oct. 4th
Blood Ties - Friday - Oct. 12th
Numb3rs - Friday - Sept. 28th
The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Mid-season

On the bubble for me:
House - Tuesday - Sept. 25th (there would have to be much more House/Wilson interaction in the future to make me watch it again)
Pushing Daisies - Wednesday - Oct. 3rd (I'm still not sure if I like it or not)
Criminal Minds - Wednesday - Sept. 26th (more Morgan/Reid interaction or I'm giving up on this one)

Giving up on: Army Wives, Brothers and Sisters, Burn Notice, Dexter and Reaper.

I hope I didn't forget anything *scratches head*

I think there are several interesting shows this season and stiff competition.

From the new ones, I will definitely watch only The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Chuck. The rest is oldies but goodies :D

Ï don't like it when they say that internet dehumanizes relationships. I found my best friends through the net! :)

Me too! I don't think the internet dehumanizes relationships. It enhances them! I even travel with and do things in real life with friends I've met through the internet. If it weren't for the internet, I probably wouldn't have any friends.

Exactly! Here, in the Czech Republic, people don't even know what manga is let alone yaoi or slash *sigh* To find friends here with whom I could talk about my hobbies was really hard. But I did find them. Thanks to internet.

^_____^ The internet has revolutionized relationships. It is easier to meet and make friends and for me, a relationship I've made over the internet is just as meaningful and valuable as a friendship I've made elsewhere. I don't care what anyone says but they are real friendships!

I couldn't agree more. My aunt told me the same thing, and I asked her if she expected me to go get drunk every weekend. Of course, when I said that, Christina glared at me.

He does smoke! Folks have seen him smoking all over. And, I do, too, so I really have no issue with it.

I'm not sure what to think of him smoking. I mean, it's nothing horrible, you know? And it's completely up to him. I don't think I would have minded at all if I knew from the very beginning. But now, it just doesn't fit the mental picture I have of him, you know? On the other hand, no wonder that he is so skinny. Smoking lowers your weight.
