Stargate: Atlantis, SLASH, McShep!
"Cartography by Touch" and the sequel "History of Maps" by
rageprufrock. John was sexually assaulted and now he and Rodney are both dealing with the aftermath in therapy sessions with Dr. Heightmeyer. The first fic is told from John's POV, the second one from Rodney's POV. Very well written without gory details. Words: both stories 10.000+.

I'm getting more and more disappointed by the way
spnstoryfinders is being maintained. Now, they don't reject your request just for lacking a subject line, which would be understandable, but also when they think it's not specific enough. I miss the days when the comm was maintained by reasonable people...

I'm getting more and more disappointed by the way spnstoryfinders is being maintained. I left the comm administration months ago and haven't really checked it much. So things are bad, huh?

Date: 2008-05-11 02:22 pm (UTC)About the comm - today, I was told that my subject line "Saved" wasn't definition enough for them to allow my post in the comm. I wanted to ask about one of the boys saving the other. I thought that the subject line should "describe" the fic, the tags "define" the fic, for Christ's sake! It's getting ridiculous! This is the only fic finding comm that I know that's a) moderated and b) that nitpicky! And it's making me feel really irked!
And it's not just that. It's not forbidden to f-lock posts in the comm but if you do it, you immediately have the mods on your back asking why it's locked. Either forbid it or don't ask. Also, the mods are rather trigger happy - someone answered my specific fic search and I thanked them, saying that that was it. I then went to add FOUND to my post and I didn't even save the corrected post yet and I already received a mod's warning that I should correct my post to Found! For pete's sake, it wasn't even one minute between my thank and my editing and they were already harping on me!
Their behavior makes me less and less inclined to post there, to be honest.
