Terminator: TSCC 1x01: Pilot
Apr. 16th, 2008 09:57 amI finally downloaded and started watching T:TSCC. Yes, fanfiction made me do it ;P
I saw the pre-aired pilot back then, in summer 2007. They changed the aired pilot slightly here and there but nothing major, really.
Lena Headey rocks in this role. Like really.
Though Thomas Dekker does seem rather... girly - pardon the expression - for the role of John. Or maybe it's the way he portrays him, too weepy, too broody. John kinda reminds me of SPN's S1 Sam. That's why I do hope that there will be some character growth there - I mean, John does become the leader of the human resistance after all ;P
Now, Summer Glau... I never saw Firefly so I'm not all gung-ho about her. She's okay but that's it so far for me. Nothing special. We will see how she turns out.
Richard T. Jones eerily reminds me of Charles Malik Whitfield o.O Oh, and James Ellison? *laughs* That's quite funny XP
So far, the one ep I watched was quite interesting. Great special effects. And it was directed by David Nutter who does great job! I will keep watching :)
Last night, I pre-ordered S2 of Psych and Eureka. I love the shows so much! And I'm also thinking of buying S1 of Tropical Heat. Amazon has it for 18 bucks only and I so love Nick and Silvie bickering!
Oh, and also last night, I listened to the one and only Star Trek: DS9 podfic out there *pouts* - "Letters from the Northern Continent" by The Hoyden. But at least, it had my favorite slash pairing: Garak/Bashir. I mean, come on, those two were awesome together (just like Julian and Miles *nods*) and the slash for them is quite hot. Though I lost the link to an awesome Garak/Bashir archive *pouts some more* There were dozens of stories, long ones and so good too :(

Date: 2008-04-16 09:59 am (UTC)Btw, I'm dropping Prison Break. They're bringing back a character I can't stand, so I've decided not to watch it any more. They're pandering to the female audience, and I despise them for that.

Date: 2008-04-16 10:42 am (UTC)Oh yeah, in PB, the girl who got her head chopped of or something is coming back, huh? Now they're saying it was some doll or that she had a twin sister or whatever. That sounds worse than Bobby in Dallas X(
