Oh, shows!

So, the results of my poll say that I mostly share these shows with you, my flist:

1. Supernatural (24)
2. NCIS (15)
3. Bones & The Mentalist tied (13)

I wonder what Numb3rs would have got if I hadn't forgot to add it! Hmpf! *head/desk*

And speaking of shows, I decided not to continue watching Merlin this season. S1 didn't do much for me, I belong to the handful of people who just don't see any slash in this show, and the fact that S2 starts in two weeks doesn't make me feel excited at all. Oh well, I have a ton of DVDs to watch anyway :P

I don't see any slash in Merlin either, but still found it a fun show to dip in and out of. I keep seeing comments like this, people saying they can't watch a show unless they can slash it. What is wrong with watching a show for what it is instead of fantasising about the characters in bed with each other? It is possible to enjoy a show without slash!

I'm not saying it isn't possible to enjoy a show without slash - I love NCIS and even though there's slash written for it, I can't get into that.. It's just that Merlin didn't really catch my interest. This, Legend of the Seeker... it's all Xena, Hercules, Robin Hood, Wilhelm Tell etc. again. Fantasy series that I think I outgrew. Merlin does have interesting stories but I don't know, I just don't care much for the characters.
