1x13, Route 666: Till this day I don't get what fans had against this episode. I like it more and more with every time I watch it. Cassie is so cool! And it was great to see the tables turned, Dean doing the pining and being in love instead of Sam pining after Jessica. It was a nice change. And all the banter was awesome just like Sam seeing his brother in a completely new light. And Sam's "It never occurred to me" and Dean's reaction to that. Ha! Fun times :)

I liked the episode just fine and while I don't hate Cassie (I like the actress in other roles) I thought she acted like kind of a semi-hysterical twit and despite Dean's semi-longing looks, I thought they had squat for chemistry. And that's not because I automatically dislike the boy's love interests. I like most of Sam's and I really liked Jamie? (is that the name of Gumby Girl? *G*). That being said though, I don't care for Jo but I think that's because I don't like Alona Tal. I haven't liked her in anything I've seen her in. And while I like Anna OK, she's a bit bland.

I know there are supposedly rabid SPN fans who tear apart episodes and dis them. I certainly have episodes that are favorites, but I don't dislike any of them.

There's only one episode that I intensely dislike to the point of hating - Red Sky at Morning in S3. I disliked all the episodes with Bela Talbot but this one was the worst. I hate the "little miss know-it-all" female characters and especially the bitchy "I'm better than you" ones. I honestly considered dropping the show if they kept Bela.

Yeah, I hated Bela worse than Azazel or Lilith. At least demons are doing what's in their nature to do. I'll be really vindictive and say that I wish we could have seen Bela suffer a little more.

Oh yes, I was so miffed that they turned her into a poor, abused girl. As if she couldn't be in it just for the money. Grr! I really hated her with the heat of thousand suns. Oh my, just remembering it is raising my blood pressure. Would you believe that I haven't re-watched one ep on the S3 DVD box set yet and all that because of her? I merrily danced on her grave when I read that they were getting rid of her.

Oh, being abused had nothing to do with her being a money grubbing bitch. I understand that she was trying to curry favor with Lilith to try and get out of her deal, but to pin everything back on the fact that she was abused by her father would mean that it's OK for everyone in her situation to be a swindler, liar and murderer. That's just not the way it works. But yeah, it was a little bit of a cop-out to try and make her 'poor little me'.

Like Ripley in Aliens when she confronted the asshole - "I don't know which one's worse. At least you don't see them [aliens] screwing each other over for a goddamned percentage."

I really enjoy Route 666. And I really want to like Cassie as a character, too, because on paper the concept of her is really cool. The actress isn't the best, however, and the writing lets the character down - there is not one moment in that episode that convinces me that this woman has just lost her father a couple of days earlier and I struggle to get past that. She comes across as a cold fish, but isn't supposed to be. It's a shame - but as a whole the episode is great fun. Naked Dean and gleeful Sammy - what's not to like? *G*

I like Cassie more and more. And I actually didn't see anything wrong with the way she reacted to her father's death. I mean, my dad died on Sunday evening and on Monday morning I was needed as an interpreter for a German family that came here to deal with some inheritance issues or something. So I can understand that sometimes, you have to set the hurt aside and do your job and grieve later :(

Racist Ghost Truck is still one of the stupidest things I've ever had to watch and I watch a crapton of bad movies. It just didn't click for me in the episode or was anything other than ridiculous. That being said I do like Cassie and I loved the way she and Dean played off of each other.

Really? I liked the ep, plot and all :) And from all the girls that popped up on SPN so far, I think that Cassie would be the only one with whom I could actually see Dean settling down.

I love Cassie. Not at first, no, though I've never hated her, but yeah, lately I find myself wanting to jump to her defenses each time someone said that she hated Cassie.

I like Cassie too. As you said, not at first but more and more with every time I watch the ep.
