I confess, I succumbed, I sinned, my dears - I read TV Guide's interview with Eric Kripke as posted on Spoiler TV's web. And it made me all kinds of excited for the show, so much that I can't remember the last time I felt so giddy about Supernatural:

* Lucifer as a sympathetic character! I love that! Scratch that, I adore that! It's so... Japanese! No, really. Take a manga, any manga about angels and you'll find Lucifer among the most sympathetic angels! The one who had the balls to say no to an omnipotent God!

* Hell is gunning for Dean Winchester because he is it, Heaven's ultimate weapon! How utterly awesome is that?

* Sam will try to patch up his relationship with Dean. He will give up drinking demon blood! But as they said in S4, his change can't be reversed. Isn't that great?

Yes, I feel guilty - but so excited too! *bounces*

I am worried about the on going "adict trying to get clean" story line. Since they didn't handle the addiction story line very well (sort of like the actor, director and writter had no experince with it but didn't bother to reserch it eihter) I've worried about that.

I don't know, I liked the way it was done. I mean, how can you research addiction to demon blood? It doesn't mean that it'll be the same as an addiction to, I don't know, alcohol or drugs. No one has been yet addicted to demon blood :P

yeah, you can't reserch addiction to demon blood - but it didn't feel like an addiction at all to me.

Actuly it didn't *feel* like much of anything to me - like it was emotionaly flat.

But let me guess: "Oh no, more angels!" and "Kripke is ruining the show!" and "Where're the urban legends, I didn's sign up for this shit!" and "More white actors and more men! They are racist and sexist and misogynist!" and "This is turning into a Dean!show!" and "More Sam!emo?"

Almost. :) It's pretty much exclusively "fuck the Saint!Dean and Castiel show, I will never forgive them how they treated Sam and I hope Jared leaves the show and makes more big movies like Friday, House of Wax, Flight of the Phoenix".

Funny how Jared gives interview after interview excitedly telling how much he likes playing "evil" Sam and how he looked forward to that storyline but whoever said your stalwart supporters need to take your views into account, right? *headdesk*

I had a whole... thing about how Lucifer in my eyes wasn't a sympathetic character at all but then I realized I would sound far to much like my mother to live anymore and I've played alternative versions of that before and while he's never been sympathetic character he's been understandable. But yes, mother. *facepalm*

I BLAME YOU FOR MAKING ME SIN AS WELL. But I figured most of this would be happening anyway so cool beans. I'm once again very excited about the season to come!

Oh which manga are you referring to? Like all I could think about was Earthian and that was- hmm, complicated? Not quite what you had in mind I'm sure.
