To boost my reading habits, I decided to join GR's J-U-N-E challenge:

So, a new actress will be playing Mace? The same thing happened with the character of Dr. Weir - in SG-1, she was played by Jessica Steen, in SGA they replaced her with Torri Higginson...

I'm not hugely surprised at the re-cast. I enjoyed the two-parter, but her Mace never really felt like she fit into the group.

I actually liked her more than I thought I would. When I saw her pics and heard that she was a CSI departee, I wrinkled my nose but I actually liked her take on the character. I just hope that they will choose someone better, not worse. And for pity's sake, I hope that they won't use Col. Mann! Or a clone of her!

Oh YES! Can you imagine it? Finding three books starting with E - books that you would be actually interested in? O.O I had troubles finding one starting with a J - lotsa M though XP
