I don't get it

I don't get some people. I mean, on GR, there's a girl who gives every frickin' SGA tie-in only one or rarely two stars and calls it boring. I mean, I could understand if she read one-two-three books and found them boring. But me? After that, I would stop because obviously, these tie-ins are nothing for me, aren't my cup of tea, I wouldn't go and artificially lower their ratings. I really don't get it - she obviously doesn't like the books so why does she keep reading them and then calling them a "total waste of paper"?

What's 'GR'? Because you're right, if she's not getting paid to read and review these books and she dislikes them all so much, then she's not only wasting her own time (not to mention money), she's also wasting others time.
