All over the place
May. 3rd, 2009 01:43 pmSo, I've seen this all over the LJ, the whole "list shows that you loved and that aren't on air anymore" thingy. And since I'm a TV addict, I decided to limit my list to 10 titles, in no particular order...
1. Stargate: Atlantis: a Sheppard!girl here. I loved it when John and Rodney bickered and Teyla and Ronon just watched, all amused.
2. Stargate SG-1: a Daniel!girl. Daniel and Jack, the same as above XD
3. Sports Night: a Danny!girl. This show managed to make me laugh and break my heart at the same time.
4. The Magnificent Seven: a Vin!girl. From the very first scene in which Vin and Chris met, I rooted for these two. Awesome chemistry!
5. The Professionals: a Doyle!girl. I loved how pissed Bodie was every time Doyle was hurt ;P
6. Scarecrow and Mrs. King: an Amanda!girl. I just loved the way her brain worked :P
7. The Hat Squad: only 11 eps before it was canceled but it's still one of my most favorite shows ever - Buddy, Raph and Matt, step-brothers and cops. And awesome music!
8. The Sentinel: a Blair!girl. Jim and Blair, living together, working together, going on vacation together... ;P
9. due South: a Fraser!girl. I loved RayV, he was a great friend, and I loved RayK, because he was - let's face it - Fraser's boyfriend (even the actors said that they played it that way). And the final scene was perfect! That's how a series should end!
10. Persuaders: a Brett!girl. Roger Moore (Brett) and Tony Curtis (Danny) were simply hilarious!
And there are so many more, like Fastlane, Charmed, MacGyver, Poltergeist: The Legacy, The Kindred, Riptide, The Middleman, Tour of Duty, Xena...

How could you not? They exchange one look across the street and bam! instant connection.

Oh, definitely. I wish all my fandoms would give me "riding off into the sunset together" as the ending.

That they were. They had good on-screen chemistry, too.

And Persuaders, I used to watch the show on Kabel1 and the German subs were perfect, simply perfect! I loved the ep where Brett's male relatives kept on dying XD

I know! I'm glad they went there, though. I mean, they'd been dangling the Fraser/RayK carrot in front of our noses since their very first scene together. It would have been disappointing if they hadn't had a happy ending together.
Persuaders is not nearly as funny in the original; in fact, Persuaders is the only show that I prefer to watch in German.

Isn't that the one where both Roger Moore and Tony Curtis appear in drag (as their respective "aunts")?
