Oh, Bones...!
Apr. 23rd, 2009 09:11 pmI'm trying to catch up on Bones. Episodes 418-420 were quite interesting - although I'm still surprised that nobody charged Angela with sexual harassment yet because her behavior is quite distasteful, ick - but what really got me was episode 421. That... Wow!
* Gordon Gordon Wyatt - Stephen Fry is awesome, so awesome!
* And then there was Sweets and his painful past. The expression on Booth's face when he learned about what happened to Sweets. And Bones' expression when she saw Sweets' scars. And the little chat between Sweets and Gordon!
* And the last scene! Bones was abused as a child. Booth wanted to kill himself. The way they showed how much they cared for Sweets..."
Wow, that episode was simply stunning. So much wonderful character stuff.

Date: 2009-04-23 07:37 pm (UTC)421 was simply awesome. That they actually had a background story for Sweets is awesome in itself. I loved how they related to each other.
Yes, Fry on House would be perfect! I wonder why they don't do it. I mean, they already had Meatloaf ;P
Oh, and I loved how Gordon Gordon dropped the whole "bisexual" thing like something completely normal, no biggie, and neither Booth, nor Bones minded. That was awesome. But my, is he huge!

Date: 2009-04-23 07:51 pm (UTC)It's cool that Booth didn't have a bad reaction about Gordon, given that he's portrayed as being a fairly devout Catholic. I couldn't imagine Brennan caring one way or the other.
