J.M. Snyder's "Trin" (ebook), #40

I didn't like this book much, it's my least favorite story from Snyder that I've read so far. I couldn't relate to any of the characters because they were all - maybe with the exception of Blaine - completely unsympathetic. Trin was pathetic, Gerrick was a jerk, Aissa was crazy and Blaine was the only one that I actually gave a damn about in this story. The whole thing left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth.

I hate it when that happens, especially when it's a favorite author. It makes you feel a little betrayed.

Yes, it does. I just couldn't believe how dumb Trin was, he behaved like a complete doormat, letting Gerrick walk all over him X(
