Some days start...
Apr. 9th, 2009 10:08 am... with a stinking pile of poo.
I turn the key in the ignition and nothing. Click-click, nothing. The battery is empty. How can that be is beyond me. On Sunday, the car was perfectly fine, I double checked that I didn't leave the headlights on... Today, click-click, nothing. Thankfully, my mechanic lives just a few houses over. I hope that we won't need a new battery *sigh*
Then I go online and stumble across Joseph Mallozzi explaining their troubles with getting the SGA movie green-lit and up and running - empty air, empty reassurances, empty promises. They are working on SGU - still not interesting in that, thank you very much - and the 3rd SG-1 movie was green-lit too but the SGA one? Moaning and excuses of the "if they want product A, you can’t just replace it with product B" sort. Yes, that's why SGU is replacing SGA. Sure. Atlantis and the unwanted red-headed step-child.
And now I have to start working on Tom Lloyd's "Twilight Herald", book two in his "The Twilight Reign" series. 500+ pages and the continuation of someone else's translation too. Right. Just what I needed.
