Vampire Diaries

You know, I think I will actually check out The CW's Vampire Diaries next fall - as long as they cut the teenie crap to the minimum and actually concentrate on the vampire part, that is. Because I really like the actors that they chose:

Damon - Ian Somerhalder
Stefan - Steven R. McQueen Paul Wesley
Elena - Nina Dobrev

But what would especially draw me to this series would be the fact that Damon and Stefan are brothers and even though Damon seems to be the evil incarnate he's actually... Okay, that would be a spoiler ;P But the relationship between the brothers is definitely more fascinating than anything Elena-related in the books XP

True :P But then, the books are young adult so there will be high school drama, I just hope that the vampire part will balance that.

The first two books are still sitting in my bedroom, waiting to be read.

Ian definitely attracks my attention. His naughty eyes of doom are hard to ignore. :)

Ian was the only reason why I watched Lost. When they killed him, I was gone.

The first book was hard to finish for me - too much teeny angst, too little horror - but it does get better later on.
