What comm? [livejournal.com profile] spnstoryfinders. I don't know what the moderators smoke but it's totally getting to their heads and muddling their brains.

I posted this request to the comm: I'm looking for a particular fic, a very long one. All I remember is that it was Dean who left and he lived happily with a man called Jessie(?) who didn't know about the hunting business. It was rejected. And the reason? "Please place the ending spoiler behind a cut."

How can I post the ending behind a cut? What ending? That's how the story frickin' starts! I knew that the comm was dumb but this is taking it to places unknown. It's okay to post a request for Jensen being raped by Jared's dog but this gets rejected. And my previous try went the same way - because my subject line wasn't specific enough!

What?! They're requiring an LJ-cut for an 'ending spoiler'?

It's a fic search community... isn't the point to know the ending already because you've already read the fic or the person who is helping you has read it. Revelation of the ending is to be *expected* in a fic search community.

Baby!Jensen just shed an emo tear of pain.

Yeah, you can search for a fic but you are not allowed to post too many details from the fic because someone could be spoiled. I mean, if I have to lj cut the details that would help people find it, it kind of defeats the point of a story-finding comm.

Erk!! What if all you KNEW was the ending, how would you find the fic?! ERP.

Obviously, you would have to lj cut it and only people who would be willing to be possibly spoiled could help you find the fic. The others would just sit there and wait for the fic to be find. Kind of defeats the purpose of the comm.

That place is scary and to be avoided at all costs. Talk about power corrupts!

Exactly. It feels like the mods decide who will and who won't be allowed to post on a whim.
