Kings

I see that people on my flist enjoy the new NBC show Kings a lot. And it really does sound promising. But! With a 19% week-to-week drop in ratings - from the premiere's 6.08 mil., 1.6/4 demo to 4.58 mil., 1.3/3 demo this week - this show is dead and buried already and I really don't feel like investing into a show that will be canceled soon. It's to bad... :(

Yeah. I think that fans will be lucky if NBC airs at least what's been already filmed :( I mean, even SPN on The CW had better results in the almighty 18-49 demo than Kings last week.

Well if it helps, they've already shot a full season of it according to one of the writers Michael Green, just in case NBC does cancel it (*knocks on wood* never give up hope!) so the fans do have a full season at least. So there's that. It's so ambivalent what NBC wants to do with this series, they moved it from Tuesday to Sunday and gave it a March start so it's like they want it to fail but it's so epically good that... well one can only hope it stays around. :)

That seems to be the plan. It's in such a weird place though that NBC just might let the whole season run to try to gain an audience. Who really knows at this point.

Oh! I also meant to say I've started watching The Listener! I'm not sure about the main character's ability to act yet but Os and Charlie are pretty dang awesome. :)
