That was great, up there with Lanyon's "Adrien English Mysteries" and "Snowball in Hell". I love those closed-societies, who-dun-it mysteries. And this one was all that and more, with the old house and secret passages and peeping Toms and crazy old ladies... And I also loved Nick and Perry and the way they got together, that it was Perry who showed a real backbone in the end and didn't allow Nick to just walk away. Awesome!
