sharona1x2's awesomeness, I acquired Drewey Wayne Gunn's "The Gay Male Sleuth in Print and Film" for a reasonable price and I'm so excited about it. It covers the history of gay male sleuthing and it lists an extensive bibliography of fictional books about gay detectives with short summaries! I'm so happy that I got my hands on this \o/
Also, I decided to get more manga from CLAMP. There are so many wonderful series from them, even though some of them aren't finished. I, for example, love the "Clamp Campus Detectives", especially in the X universe where they are university students protecting Kamui's sword. Too bad that the "Clamp Campus Detectives" manga is sold out, just like the "Clamp Campus Duklyon" one. But there's still X and "Tokyo Babylon", after all. And I have got "RG Veda" at home, too.
And then there's "Tsubasa" (or any other version of that title) - I think I will keep buying it. In the latest vol. of "xxxHolic", there were some hints at what was going on in "Tsubasa" and it looked awesome! So, yeah. It's just too bad that not all volumes are available in German anymore, so it'll be a mix of German and English for me. Oh, well...
Besides "xxxHolic 12", I also received Ayane Yamano's "Finder 3" and the SG-1 tie-in novels "Alliances" by Karen Miller, "The Barque of Heaven" by Suzanne Wood and "Roswell" by Sonny Whitelaw. And the gay mystery "Burning Down the House", another Nick Hoffman adventure by Lev Raphael.
Oh, and I've been translating R. A. Salvatore's "Siege of Darkness", book IX in the Drizzt Do'Urden series, and it's actually really good - that's a first for me saying that. It really shows Salvatore's growth as an author. I laughed myself silly in the scene where Harkel Harpell's eyeballs popped up in front of Bruenor in the Mithrall Hall, then dropped to the ground and rolled every which way while the wizard yelled "Now I know how lizards see the world!" (or something like that) XD
