I liked this episode better than last week's, though I'm not sure why *tilts head*

I liked:
* Sam and Dean investigating again. I like the standalone episodes. They remind me of S1. Nice little stories that still move the overall plot foreward only bit by bit, not in huge chunks!
* I like the new Ruby *shrugs*
* For some reason, I found Sam very, very hot in this episode, go figure.
* Sam's plotting again, lying to Dean again. Boy, oh boy, he will never learn...
* Chief! Safeword! Mwahaha!
* Great guest stars - and because they are huge names in the business, they received much more air time in the episode which brings me to the only thing that I kinda missed: more Sam and Dean time! But I understand that when you book Barry Bostwick, you have to give him space to shine :)

Ratings: 3.04 mil., 1.3/3 - better than last week, even if just a tiny notch, and this week, SPN had to face GA, CSI and Bones! Smallville on the other hand faced Bones too and dropped like 600 thousands viewers since last week... Looks like SPN is the CW's only show that didn't drop this week ;P

The plotting worked better in this episode than last - the brothers' ongoing issues were much more seamlessly woven into the plot rather than being tacked on or hammered. That's probably why you liked it better. I thought it was great. Loads of meaty angsty issues to chew over! The new episodes have completely re-fired by excitement (and terror) for the remainder of the season. *G*

Yes, this episode didn't feel as... scattered as last week's and I liked the way the writer fit their issues into the story itself, they weren't just bookends for something completely unrelated :)

Dean is not going to be happy when he finds out, and find out he will. I loved Dean being had. They honestly get away with the fakes far more often than they should! His face right then should be cast in plaster and made into masks, it was that good. <3

New Ruby is good, but I really, really want to know what her deal is.

OMG, I can't believe that they actually let them get away with the BDSM stuff! XD And you're right, Dean will be so pissed. I like both Rubies, the actresses just play them differently.
