SN and SPN
Jan. 22nd, 2009 09:18 amYou know, I think that people who never watched Sports Night have missed something terrific. This show is amazing and it knows how to throw a punch.
Last night, I watched the episodes Kafelnikov, Shane, Kyle Whitaker's Got Two Sacks and The Reunion, and I have to say, the two scenes with Dan and Abby - the one in the bar where she just knew how he usually reacted to people and then the true-or-false scene in her office - were the most powerful scenes since the one where Casey came to tell Dan that Isaac had a stroke while they played Eliah's Coming in the background in season 1. Wow. Josh Charles simply nailed Dan there, his desperation, his mental breakdown... And then Casey's reaction to Dan's totally scattered behavior in the bar... Oh my. That one will stay with me for some time...
Also, TVGuide.com posted an interview with Supernatural's Sera Gamble (beware of spoilers, of course!) and I must say, I'm impressed. It looks like what's coming will be A-awesome! \o/
