Question: What's cookin' on the Supernatural front? -- April
Ausiello: A secret is revealed that will make Dean feel guilty for all of eternity.
Okay, I love Dean, he's my favorite of the two brothers, but any more guilt and the guy will end up eating his own gun! He's the poster boy for GUILT! Besides, I can already hear people yap again about how neglected Sam is - oh yes, because seasons 1+2 so weren't about his "I'm turning evil" emo *rolls eyes*

Also, OMG! On the Other Hand, Death, the third film in the Donald Strachey series is coming out on DVD Feb. 24th! Like, OMG! I so can't wait to see Donald and Timmy again, especially if they smooch ;) Does anybody know when the fourth movie will be out?

I groaned when I read that spoiler. I mean, sriously? Like he isn't feeling guilty forever already from the hell thing. What more can they do? Make him responsible for everything bad that happened to his family? The apokalypse? BOTH?

These writers need to get a grip because I am at a point where I feel like slitting my wrists just from watching.

Oh, it's happening. Everything single spoiler about Season 4 brings it out now.

Well, maybe that's Kripke's plan. Maybe he wants to keep piling it up on Dean until he does commit suicide. I mean, that would be all kinds of awesome if he really did that. Or maybe it will culminate with Sam doing something crazy like making Dean forget or something. Because, except for the disaster that was season 3, Kripke did have a plan for everything, more or less.

And I agree that S4 is more Dean centric but S1 and 2 were always about Sam and his problems so it's a nice change.

From what I'm getting from interviews, almost nothing seems planned. The deal, Dean going to hell, the angels, Lilith, all stuff they made up along the way. I really wonder what IS in Kripke's five/four year plan.

I guess I just find it incredibly depressing with the neverending angst and "everythimg I fucked up". I need some relief, hope, redemption, something the hero can be legitimately proud of or I check out mentally. My personal life not being all that great at the moment, I just can't take it in my escapism TV, too. Sigh.

More guilt? Why, for goodness' sake. He's already not sleeping, not eating and beating himself up so bad he must be black and blue inside. What is it this time, someone reminds him there is no air in space? Seriously?

I hear you on the Sam front. I love Sam dearly, but his emo was the focus of three seasons, even. Everything Dean did was about him. I am very happy Dean finally gets some attention that isn't of the "Sam Winchester's annoying brother" kind.

It would be really beautiful if they actually went all the way and completely destroyed Dean mentally - but they won't, of course. But it would be a juicy thing for Jensen to play...
