More casting news for SGU. So, now we have:
Dr. Nicholas Rush --> Robert Carlyle
Col. Everett Young --> Justin Luis
Lt. Matthew Scott --> Brian J. Smith
Sr. Sergeant Ronald Greer --> Jamil Walker Smith
Eli Wallace --> David Blue
And the series premiere was bumped up to fall 2009 - I think they bit off more than they could chew and swallow without choking so they had to scratch their plans for a summer premiere. But that's just my opinion.
*sigh* You know, the more I hear about the series and the casting, the less interested I'm in the show. Maybe it'll all come back, the excitement etc., but so far, I'm mostly meh! about the whole thing. There's no actor/character as of yet that would make me want to tune in - to SG-1, I was drawn thanks to Richard Dean Anderson (I knew him from MacGyver), to SGA thanks to Joe Flanigan (I loved him in Family Album). Also, both shows were light and fun and so far, all I read about SGU described the hidden agenda of various characters, back-stabbing intrigue etc. - which is exactly the reason why I stopped watching Battlestar Galactica where everybody is essentially a villain *sigh*
Oh well, there'll be a ton of other shows next fall :)
