Lately I heard a lot of people on the ClarkLex ML complain about Clark´s stupidity, about how selfish and self-centered he is. Uh, do the people forget that Clark - even though he is an alien - is a TEENAGER for pete´s sake? He is 17 darn years old! Nobody can demand from such a boy to think about everything, never make mistakes or not to be even a little bit selfish. Why shouldn´t he actually be selfish? Everybody - including his best friends and his love interest - want to know his secret and his parents keep putting one layer of guilt after another on his shoulders. How much responsibility can a 17-years-old take before it becomes too much? I think the fans should remember that this is a Teenage!Clark and not a Superman!Clark. He has a long way to go before becoming someone who saves dogs in thunderstorms (like one girl wanted him to do *rolling eyes*).

Uh, enough banter. Just had to get it off my mind before I explode.
