McShep and gen fic recs
Sep. 27th, 2008 11:32 pmI've been reading Rheanna's awesome SGA fics and I really need to rec you some of them...
MCSHEP --> "Teenage Kicks" - Through a time machine, John and Rodney are sent back into their teenage bodies in 1984. Words: 20.000+.
MCSHEP --> "Rewind, Reboot, Restore" - Rodney loses his memory and reverts back to his mean SG-1 self. Words: 20.000+.
And now the fics that really blew my mind:
MCSHEP --> "Gravity" - can be read as GEN, though. AU to "Last Man". AI!Rodney builds AI!John so that he's not alone anymore. The way this fic ended brought me to tears, really. Words: 5.000+.
GEN --> "All the Difference" - how Rodney almost didn't go to Atlantis. Short but so very sweet, a real team!fic. Words: -1.000.
GEN --> "I-Don't-Spy" - on a long flight in a Jumper, John and Rodney are bored and so they play a game. Words: -1.000. This one is hilarious. And in the light of the latest episode, this part is totally canon:
He thinks for a moment and then asks, "Do you think we're rubbing off on each other?"
"Someone would've told us," Sheppard says.
"Yes. I'm sure they would've," Rodney says, feeling not as reassured as he would like.
