There will be Supernatural tonight! Woo!
Sep. 18th, 2008 07:46 pmSupernatural! Tonight! Tomorrow morning for me! Woo! \o/
I can't remember the last time I was this excited about SPN. Last season, I spoiled myself rotten and it totally undermined my excitement and enjoyment - together with other factors better left unnamed. But this season, I'm 95% spoiler-free. I know the title of the episode and the summary posted on TV.com. And that's it. I resisted, I didn't read any spoilers nor did I watch the first five minutes posted on YouTube. I was a very good girl :)
And now I'm excited and all tingly but at the same time, my stomach is in knots because I fear SPN's ratings. I hope that everything will be fine, though *crosses fingers tight and prays*
Oh, and see my LJ mood theme? SGA! Woo times two! It's still work in progress so I may use only those moods for which I already have pictures :P

Date: 2008-09-18 06:20 pm (UTC)Eef, I know. I'm hoping the huge spike in DVD sales means more people are getting into it.
(They just released the first week's numbers really early Wednesday:
Supernatural, Season 3: 109,307 units sold ($4,261,880 sales; ranked #6 of all U.S. DVD sales for the week). That was more than Gossip Girl got for its first week! And One Tree Hill, which was higher than Gossip Girl.
Sources and the first week sales for season 2 (55,726 units) can be found here (http://www.supernaturalwiki.com/index.php?title=Ratings), at the bottom -> I'll be tracking the ratings (finals, not fast nationals) on that page all season.

Date: 2008-09-18 06:50 pm (UTC)I just hope that the ratings for this season's premiere will be as good as they were for last season's finale, that would be enough for me, wanting more would be pushing it I guess (Privileged, CW's new show that airs after 90210, had only 2.40+ mil. this week and 90210 itself barely 3.30, so 3 mil. for SPN would be a success) but that doesn't mean that I can't hope for more *crosses fingers*
You know, sometimes I really wish I never learned anything about ratings at all. My life had been definitely less stressful back then XP

Date: 2008-09-18 06:54 pm (UTC)I'm so looking forward to this season *bounces* I hope that we will get many great episodes and brotherly moments! Especially the brotherly moments. I can take crappy plot as long as I get the awesome, awesome brotherly love!
