Family Album

Call me crazy, but my fingers fairly itch to write some Family Album slash. No, really. I mean, I know that it's a Danielle Steel movie but the characters of Lionel Thayer (Joe Flanigan) and Paul Steel (Paul Satterfield) are just so fascinating! And they are actually gay and they do actually get together in the movie. They have like only two scenes together but there's so much chemistry between them...

So yeah, I think I will write me some FA slash *nods* I know that no one will read it - come on, the movie is like 14 years old and it's Danielle Steel - but if I won't even try, I will go nutty! XP

I used to read Danielle Steel. 'The Promise' is like a classic to me. I no longer read her though, because I think her books are getting more and more diabetic inducing.

But I love FA. I didn't know it's been made into a movie. Is it new, the movie?

The movie is 14 years old - from 1994 - but it's really good, at least IMHO. Michael Ontkean and Jaclyn Smith play the main couple. But I bought it from the UK especially because of Joe Flanigan. He plays their gay son Lionel and oh my, he's gorgeous there. Like really really really. And he plays it so well, too. All shy and uncertain... I mean, Joe is gorgeous now too - I love him as Sheppard in Stargate: Atlantis - but back then he was... Oh my *giddy*
