Huh, I wonder what all these changes mean for the show. Never before did Sci-Fi air SGA in one long run.
But they did when they first aquired SG1, didn`t they? As well as other shows? I thought this insane long hiatus in between Season is a relatively new thing, and I can only imagine it is bad for ratings momentum.
I mean in today`s times the attention span of the average viewer is getting shorter and shorter. Even on non-cable networks you see what a 4-6 week break in the Season does to ratings. Perhaps Sci-Fi has simply come to the conclusion that this practice isn`t really workeable anymore and are slowly giving it up.
