As you know, I'm working on Sara Douglass' "Enchanter" - yes, still *head/desk* - and I'm halfway through with the corrections. Just today, I came across this part though that rather boggled my mind...

Yr now spent most of her time with Faraday, even to the point of sharing her bed at night. It was a large bed, almost four paces across, and two bodies could get lost quite easily in it, but neither Faraday or Yr ever seemed to lose each other. In circumstances that sometimes seemed as hopeless as Faraday found hers, she took what comfort was offered, and Yr offered the girl a virtually bottomless well of comfort.

Is it just me or are these two really closeted lesbians? *scratches head*

Got it in one with the lesbian bit, I'd say! And uh - they don't sound very closeted to me, babe.

Just sayin.... *VBG*

:)) If Faraday was lesbian, it would her character much more enjoyable. So far, the only thing she does is pine after Axis and frolic naked in the woods *rolls eyes*

Yr always struck me as being... very open-minded about that sort of thing.

Oh yes, she slept with everything bipedal! XP You know, if the author actually made Faraday and Yr a couple, the book might have been much more interesting with Faraday going from pining after Axis to being in love with a woman...
