I can't believe that they really went there with the whole "OMG! You two are dating! That explains a lot." Shawn was totally unfazed while Gus bristled like a porcupine, of course :D

Other funny bits:
- Shawn deciding for Juliet in the end. Aww...
- Shawn's parents embarrassing him!
- Shawn admitting that Gus is his best friend and the "actual" hero!
- Shawn and Gus dragging the mascot with them!
- Lassiter having the best date ever! XD
- Lassiter saving Juliet's butt! Wow, that was a first!

I quite like Cybill Shepherd in this role. Loving but a little bit cold and distant at the same time...

And I started reading Flewelling's "Shadows Return". I love me some Seregil and Alec again *squishes book* Awesome!

Ooh, new Psych! I need to catch up! ... yeah, this comment is basically just an excuse to go squee at Stalking Darkness. Read it as soon as it was out, and loved it to bits. Of course, I've been in love with the characters for years and years, so it was wonderful to see them again, but. Yay, entertaining book! Hope you enjoy the rest!

I'm halfway through the book and it's so good! The Nightrunner trilogy was the first real gay book that I read and I still love it to pieces! And this one has such a beautiful cover *swoons* Seregil is so beautiful on it... *sigh*

Sorry, totally lost track of this comment for a while! Just wanted to say that - yes! Me too! When I read Luck in the Shadows at age 16, it was a huge eye-opener for me. That, and I fell in love with the character, and now I re-read the books like they're comfort food. They make me happy. ♥

My comfort food is the Ukiah Oregon series by Wen Spencer. Ukiah is... he's so... And his "brother"... Wow. I was halfway through book one and I was already ordering books 2-4!

Huh. Don't think I've ever heard of those books! What genre are they?

It's sci-fi, set on Earth in our time. It's a series about a young man called Ukiah Oregon who has extraordinary senses that help him in his job - with his partner he helps finding lost people. My review of the first book is here (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/544236.Alien_Taste).

I also loved Spencer's book "A Brother's Price". It had a very interesting concept - it's set in a world dominated by women where mothers or sisters sell their sons or brothers to other female clans as husbands.

Ack! Another one we don't have at the library... But it looks cool! And the cultural concept in "A Brother's Price" sounds like it could be very intriguing. Hmm~. Thanks for the rec!
