Tao of Rodney and The Game
Jul. 8th, 2008 09:53 pmOh my, these two eps were just awesome, like really!
In ToR, I adored the scene between Rodney and John, when John taught him to... err, meditate XD That was hilarious. But I literally teared up when McKay went and did something nice for all of his friends. That was so incredibly touching... Oh, just a side note - I really like Sheppard's quarters! And I loved the last scene, with Elizabeth and Rodney. It just seemed so touching and mellow and funny... Aww.
TG was hilarity pure! The banter between Sheppard and McKay reminded me a lot of the S2 ep Inferno. They just kept going on and on and Teyla and Ronon just stared, totally amused. My favorite scenes? The very first one in the mess hall, with the baby on the tracks, when Rodney just wanted to point out the ethical dilemma and his team kept asking stupid questions XD The guilty, guilty look Sheppard had when they realized that whoops, our fault XD The whole explanation in Elizabeth's office and the fact that they've been playing this game for two years now! The puddle jumper scene - that one was simply hilarious! I rolled on the floor laughing. Joe Flanigan and David Hewlett nailed the scene perfectly! And the chess at the very end! "I just kicked your ass." XD Awesome! Oh, and Zelenka and Lorne, of course! One of the best episodes. Definitely!
