I finished watching SGA's Misbegotten. I'm probably in the minority here but I really don't care about the Michael plot much. Sure, I love Connor Trinneer but to me it feels like the whole retro-virus storyline has been beaten to death a long time ago. Though I really liked the characters in this episode. Ronon with his "casualties of war" attitude, Sheppard's "it's my call" response to bombing the planet, McKay's frustration over his own inability to bypass the hive's system, Weir being her confident self... Only Carson got a bit on my nerves with his whole empathy attitude. I mean, he was the one who created the retro-virus. What did he think that they would do with it? Store it somewhere and look at the pretty? *rolls eyes* Oh, and Teyla with her moral high ground *snorts* But I quite liked Woolsey in this ep! His objections were valid and totally unbiased.

I adored the interactions though...
Caldwell: Colonel Sheppard, where the hell are you?
(Teyla *looks* at John, raising her eyebrows.)
Sheppard (realizes that the jumper's cloak is on): Oh, right. Sorry!

Sheppard: Just out of political curiosity, how much trouble is it going to cause you if I knock this Woolsey guy in the head?
Weir: May I ask *why* you'd like to do that?
Sheppard: It's just an impulse I had, really, one I suspect I'm going to have again next time I see him. He may not even have to say anything.
(Weir looks amused)
Weir: I've never seen you like this. What did Woolsey say to you?
Sheppard: Besides judging every damn decision you've ever made?
Weir: John Sheppard, are you defending my honor?!
(Sheppard hesitates a moment)
Sheppard: *And* judging me for agreeing with you.
Weir: Well, don't be too hard on him. I think of all the circling wolves, he's the least likely to actually bite. In fact, he might even convince the others to leave us alone.
Sheppard: Alright, so... no head knocking.
Weir: It's the thought that counts.

Sheppard: (Referring to the Hive Ship) You figure out how to fly this thing yet?
McKay: (Sarcastically) Oh yeah, fly, shimmy, spin like a top! You didn't think it'd be hard, did you?

Sheppard: How you doing with the weapons?
McKay: We couldn't hit the side of a barn.
Sheppard: The hive ship's hundreds of times...
McKay: A giant flying barn. We couldn't hit that.

Sheppard: You're a genius Rodney.
McKay: Yes, I know... but I didn't do anything.
