katikatI just watched SG:A's ep 38 Minutes, with audio commentaries and without, and I must say that it's one of my most favorite eps of Atlantis' S1. It's so suspenseful, everything happening in "real time", just awesome. Also, hurt!Sheppard is always a good thing in my book :D
I also adore the comments by Rachel Luttrell and Paul McGillion. She calls him Paulie, hehe. According to Rachel, Joe Flanigan was so not a happy camper during the filming of this episode. He had the bug dummy strapped to his neck and basically, he couldn't move from his position. And they filmed that ep for over a week! They were all stuck in this tiny puddle jumper that was really tiny and they were in each other's faces, like literally. And since they were filming without lights, they had to light each other with flashlights and they kept screwing up because they had to not only remember their lines but also who they were lighting. And they were all so grumpy but especially Joe. He was really irked. The director was so happy with how Joe played Sheppard's anger but that was actually his own, hehe.
The DVDs are just awesome! *bounces* I need more SG:A icons!
