May. 7th, 2008 11:32 amI don't get why people have to argue what's better if GoGi or OTH. It's like bickering about SPN vs. Reaper. Yes, the shows are "similar" - the former two are "teeny soaps", the latter two are "supernatural" shows. But they are not the same. Why can't people like both? Or like one and not the other without the need to justify themselves? Sheesh *hands*
As you know, I like to visit and read Marc Berman's PiFeedback forum. But sometimes, it feels like a troll central, really. On Monday, people justify liking GoGi or OTH. On Tuesday, it's Reaper and the "oh so old screwing" NCIS. On Thursday, it's SPN, on Friday then Moonlight. I must be a masochist to still go there because some of the members take delight in putting down simply everything.
Last night, I ordered S2 of Stargate: Atlantis on DVD because Amazon still has it for 25 bucks only. That's 50% discount. Yes, I'm a hamster :D
And since I'm already talking about SG:A. Fic rec!

lavvyan. McShep pairing. Stuck with a body he can't accept as his own, John withdraws - and Rodney lets him, certain that all John needs is time. But what if he's wrong? The author speculates what would have happened, if John stayed partially a bug, and re-writes some of the episodes with this scenario. Words: 40.000+ (a Big Bang fic).
Some spoilers...
According to Ask Ausiello, "Fox, in collaboration with producer NBC Universal, is quietly developing a House spin-off for next season." But there's a twist to this spin-off - the main character won't be a doctor but a private investigator that will be introduced in a multi-episode arc.
And OMG OMG OMG, did you see the "Actually, word around NCIS is that the buzzed-about death won't be the biggest surprise of the season. Consider this line from Director Vance to Gibbs from the two-hour season finale: "If you think you can protect them forever, Jethro, you are mistaken. There's already been one casualty. There will be more." What does mean?! Beats me! *runs around like a chicken with its head chopped off* That sounds awesome and so mysterious!
Oh, and the Bones spoiler? "Shortly after AA went live last week, a Bones insider e-mailed me to say, 'There are actually two casualties coming up — only one of which leads to death.'" That sounds kind of... ominous.
