Great. Next week, the CW is airing a new episode of Supernatural, right? Well, surprise, surprise, it'll be pre-empted in the whole Chicago area (the 3rd largest TV market) for baseball (ETA: heh, obviously, it's baseball, not basketball :P). Can we say awful ratings? Fast nationals will be inflated, the finals will drop like 300 000 viewers. That's really awesome X(

And I will be attending the Prague Bookfair next Friday, so I won't see the ep until late Saturday. Hmpf! X(

You know, in this fandom, I really don't care who's the top in the slash pairing. Usually, I do have a preference - in SPN it's Sam, in SV Lex, in House House... - but here, I really don't care. As long as it's Sheppard/McKay. Yes, I fell under the spell of this couple. And I need an icon! *nods*

Well, that sucks. And, how is it you know more about when and where it's airing than I do? WGN (Chicago) is the station I watch it on, and I didn't hear anything about basketball (or baseball? Did you see Cubs/Sox or Bulls?). Stupid WGN (and, yes, I totally realize that WGN is a sports station. So not caring).

How is it that last week's ratings were better than this week's? This week's episode was totally better (and quite possibly the best episode of the season).

Supernatural needs to make a big splash upon its
return with new episodes next week but.....surprise, surprise.....its first new episode in two months is being preempted in the #3 market in the country for a Chicago Cubs game.

Hehe, I have no idea if it's basketball or baseball. Probably baseball, huh? *changes in the entry*

CM - I think that some people may not have liked last week's ep and that's why they didn't tune in this week? Same thing happened with SPN after Red Sky... Fresh Blood's ratings were down a lot. Though I will check out the final ratings for you.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Last week's episode was so-so, but this week was just awesome.

It's just a bummer, really. I mean, it's like everything is against SPN :(

Pre-empted it pretty typical for baseball. When it comes down to it it just typically gets more ratings than any scripted drama. Depending on the station though they'll usually show it after the game or possibly on the weekend.

On the SV ratings they did have a week long break in there and I know I wouldn't have remembered to watch it if my friend didn't have it on a widget to remind us when it's on. And bad timing for that, it was a pretty decent epi OMG stuff happened and best of all *no* Lana. *cackles*

well yeah... I think everything is against the show... I think it would have had more suport on another network - but at the same time I think that they would have had to perform better in ratings and what not....
