Is very important to state wishes like that out loud. I kept on and on from season two on about how I wanted to see a) Sam drive the Impala again, b) Dean disappear into thin air and Sam have to search for him (because it had happened the other way around so many times) and c) brother-brother first aid. And lo! Season three has given me all the above, more or less. Although, of course, I'm still not satisfied and want more - a proper first aid scene, at least!
More domestic scenes, please, Show! I want at least acknowledgement of the fact that Dean, at least, should know how to cook because he was the caretaker of the family for so many years, the parent whenever John was away, and would have had to learn how to provide meals out of necessity. He might be content to live off takeout now, but he should be capable of producing basic meals, at least. So yes, cooking would be good. Laundry...I think we've all wanted. An extension of those scenes where we've seen Dean sorting clothes by smell.
Weapons maintenance does tend to be one or the other, doesn't it? Curious. They must, surely, work out. And we're not seeing as much of the research as we used to, Show is cramming so much else in these days.
So, yes. I approve of your list wholeheartedly.
Edit - and yes, I know you meant fic. But I'd like to see all of the above in the Show. *G*
I was talking about the show too. I mean, come one, they could find some angry ghost in a laundry room, couldn't they? Or a demon teaching cooking classes. And they do need to work out, don't they? I mean, I could see Dean keeping his lean figure by just doing the job but Sammy's muscles need some serious work-out :D And I would like to see Sam do the weapon cleaning for once :D
And you are right. I would like to see Dean disappear on Sam, like really disappear for a week or so, because it happened so many times the other way around already.
I'm quite curious what we will see in the last 4 eps of this season but I'm determined to stay away from spoilers no matter what! And so far, I've been successful! :D
The cooking/laundry thing wouldn't even need to involve a ghost - they could discuss a case while pottering around! I mean, action dialogue always feels so much more natural than just sitting around, completely stationary, while talking business. We've seen so many times that Dean likes to have something to do with his hands - he's usually doing somethingwhile they talk, even if Sam is content to just sit and talk. So why not let us see him cooking - even if only heating something in the motel microwave! - with Sam hovering at his shoulder maybe fretting about something, Dean offering soothing banter while he works, etc.

Spoilers are Evil. I know absolutely nothing about the final four episodes, and am determined to keep it that way. Not clicking on those tempting links is tough at first, but gets easier with practice...
