Oh my, I usually don't post the final ratings for any shows besides SPN, but this...

Reaper's fast nationals: 2.81 mil., 1.2/3 demo
Reaper's final numbers: 2.52 mil., 1.1/3

It dropped 290.000 viewers. I mean, wow. That's... wow *shocked* Though, from what I heard, it was pre-empted in Oklahoma for some basketball? baseball? game.

I'm shocked! I think I found like four paranormal books/series featuring main MALE heroes! My jaw dropped and hit the floor, really!

Camille Bacon-Smith's "Daemon Eyes"
Anton Strout's "Dead to Me
John Levitt's "Dog Days"
Mark Del Franco's "Unshapely Things"

*drools* I will definitely have to get "Daemon Eyes". Dude!

Work now!

I have Deamon Eyes on my bookshelves; I couldn't resist when I read the synopsis. I know it won't be great literature, but it should be a fun read *g*

Mwhahaha, define great literature though, girl :P I mean, if I enjoy it, it's great literature to me :D Well, on the other hand, you won't see me reading Pullitzer books. I have had enough of that studying at the U. Besides, Bacon-Smith is pretty famous in the paranormal/sci-fi genre...

BTW - the Odd Thomas book that you're reading? Is it any good? I just read Koontz's "The Face of Fear" and I'm thinking about buying Odd Thomas too...

I can't say enjoying a book mean 'great literature' to me but, yes, I don't care if that's not 'great literature' as long as I do enjoy said book :-) And, admittedly, the quality of a novel is in the eyes of the beholder, anyway, so...

Oh I'm enjoying Odd Thomas a lot! It's stressing me out in a lovely way and I absolutely love the main characters - as well as the secondary ones - so if you were thinking of buying it, I'd totally agree with your choice :-)

I see people saying that SPN fans would enjoy Koontz's books and I think that they are right. He has these paranormal elements in all of his stories, doesn't he?

I second that.

He does seem to enjoy the paranormal, yes :-) And he deals with it in a great way, too, so we're so not complaining.

It is, isn't it? On the one hand, I don't like the show. On the other hand, I don't want the CW to air only teen soap operas among which SPN with its supernatural theme would stick out like a sore thumb *sigh*
