As wendy said, we should appreciate our show, Supernatural, more and complain less. I agree!

And thus I hereby promise to try and give Bela Talbot one more chance in the next four episodes. I will try to stay objective until we find out if she is a part of the main plot in any way or if she really is just a useless tag-on. I will try to give Lauren Cohan one more chance to convince me that she actually can act. I will try to give Kripke one more chance to prove that he knows where he is headed with her character, that he really does have something planned out for her, that he isn't pulling her storyline out of his butt as he goes. I will try to do all that out of love for the show. Also, I will try to stay spoiler-free *crosses fingers* Yes, I will try...

WINCEST --> "The thing of ours" by fleshflutter. It's an AU version of the Pilot. The Winchester family business is organized crime rather than hunting the supernatural.

GEN --> "Hospital Corners" by kellifer_fic. After what happened in Mystery Spot, Sam doesn't deal well. And Dean is worried because he doesn't understand.

Oh, and I tried watching the demon cloud attack on the police station with muted sound, playing E Nomine's Hitmix. Oh wow. You know what/who E Nomine is, right? Imagine them singing "open the door to the dark legions" and "I feel the power when you separate me from the gods" and "you are the damnation" and "your way of thinking will throw Earth into chaos" while watching THAT! O.O Awesome! And much scarier *shivers*

I am all for giving fandom a good go and respecting people's different opinions but for the sake of liking Bela, I don't think that's going to happen for me, but it's brilliant you're going to give the character another go. I just really have trouble accepting the character and find it bothersome to the plot line. I think they'll rework her into the storyline, find a new way as i think as a balance of both girls- Ruby is probably more widespread accepted and I think the writers will work something out with the character.

Kelifer_fic is amazing- I read that earlier today. Really good. And omg, as if you were READING MY BRAIN , i read Fleshflutters Deaf & Blind Dean story today- Dark side of the Moon i think- that was SO good!

For me, there are two options: to either give Bela another chance or to intensely dislike a big part of the show *sigh* It's obvious that Bela is there to stay, no matter what since even Kripke is practically drooling over her character.

I've been stalking fleshflutter for some time now :P A couple of weeks back, I read everything she wrote for SPN. My favorite story is still "Old Gods Return" though. The whole atmosphere of the fic is made of win!

I can ignore her for the best part and still get some enjoyment from the show but still, Season 1 is my favourite. I wish we could have an ep with Missouri - you know- that's a character we've seem to forgotten (not we- writers actually ^_^) I think that they can drool over whatever they want, the show has already differed to what I first loved about it- but i stick wiht it because I do enjoy it from time to time and plus, it's not really a hardship when the main characters are as good looking as they are (lol).

I am going to check that story out now then- if you enjoyed it! Because i really did like her style for what I read today!

I love the Old Gods story. There are short sequel-y time stamps that follow the fic. I couldn't get enough of the fic when I first read it. It's... I don't know, it's hard to explain but the whole atmosphere of the fic, the ending... *giddy*

As for the SPN stuff, I'm already prepared. SPN fandom implodes usually over hiatus - and we're well on our way :D Like I said, I'm here for the Js (hello, objectify and drool, fanfics, gayboy incest, blah blah blah).

In conclusion, I love J2 fanfics, Wincest fanfics, ERIC KRIPKE, JEREMY CARPENTER, and KIM MANNERS.

And fleshflutter? SHE IS GODDESS AMONGST FANFIC-WRITERS, the end <3

I'm trying to stay positive, to be really zen about things as I promised myself to be at the beginning of this year - I wasn't all that successful with that New Year's resolution though :P

I think the best gens are the ones written by the authors who wrote Wincest as well!

Btw, do you have any idea what's going on with "fandom" in general? Are there any new wankings going on? I read from someone's LJ that that she's "tired" of what fandom is saying right now but she didn't elaborate and I didn't ask because I don't really know her.

Yeah, there has been a wank going around. Someone posted a meta calling the show racistic for killing all the Afro-American recurring characters. They mentioned something about the black people "talking funny" or something like that so they are best for antagonists or something along these lines. I didn't read it, I just saw it mentioned somewhere *sigh*
