No energy!

Lately, I have no energy to read fanfiction of any kind. I have so many Supernatural fanfics in my to-read file on del.ico.us... I have discovered some awesome, awesome Hardcastle & McCormick fics... And I just can't gather the energy to read them. Whenever I start a fic, it takes just two short paragraphs for me to lose interest even though the fic really is very good. It's rather frustrating!

And so I read books instead. Like real paper books or manga. And I write reviews for my GoodReads account. It's great that I finally found my way back to books but I would rather if my mood swings weren't so extreme: either fanfics or books. Why can't I enjoy both in reasonable doses? *frustrated*

Oh, and I have a plot bunny or three hopping around the room too. It's not that I have a writer's block, I just can't summon up the energy to even write a sentence. I have one fic idea for a Five Things SPN fic where the Trickster would offer Sam a glimpse at what Dean's life would be like if there was no supernatural stuff in the world. I have an idea for a sequel to my Psych fic where Shawn was shot in the head. And I was asked more than once to write another part in my Gorgeous Carat "Souls" series - the idea is there, really... Just imagine the South of France, a mansion in the woods, snow storm, Azura lurking in the shadows, trying to drive Floréan insane...

Muse? Working overtime. Energy level? Sub zero *yawns*

But maybe it'll get better after I finish working on "Dragons of a Lost Star" which should be, hopefully, in two days. The characters are driving me batty, really. Especially Mina. She's completely sane. She just killed and enslaved thousands of people to prove to her step mother that there is a new god on Krynn! Right. Completely sane *snort*

I'm in the same place. I feel guilty for reading when I have so much I want to write, but my energy level for writing is somewhere around that of a slug.
