Frickin' ouch!

katikatI don't usually talk about sports but this... frickin' ouch! Florida Panthers' Richard Zednik was hurt during last night's hockey game. Ow, ow, ow! His team-mate Jokinen cut Zednik's carotid artery with his skate. According to the news he lost almost 4 liters of blood but they managed to save him, thank God!
It's plastered all over the news here. We and the Slovaks, Zednik is Slovak, may not live in one state anymore but in cases like this, it doesn't seem to matter. Poor guy. And poor Jokinen too. He wanted to go with Zednik to the hospital, he was totally down. I don't think that they should have continued with the game. The hockey players thought so too. After that, Zednik's team-mates had no thoughts for the game :(
