I love Columbo and his "Excuse me, I have one more question..." makes me laugh every time :D

Yay, I finally got my hands on Hardcastle & McCormick, S3! Hurray. There is the episode with Rosemary Clooney as a medium there! I love that ep :)

DVD releases, ahoy!

  • Eureka S2 June 17th
  • The Invisible Man S1 March 25th
  • TekWar S1 June 10th (I might get around buying that. I loved Greg Evigan in that series!)

Now if they just released Scarecrow and Mrs King and Matt Houston - and Houston Knights for that matter - and I would be a happy camper!

Do you order on line, or are you the type to go to the shop and buy?? I'm a bit of both. I'm just being a nosey parker in asking :)

I order online. But the problem is that all the DVDs has to go through customs here and I have to pay VAT for them. And lately, it's taking longer and longer to get the parcels I order from the US. For manga, I now turn to the German Amazon. It's much quicker from there.

Where do you live? German Amazon being a clue- that you live in Germany? (Forgive my ignorance ^_^)

I live in the UK, if you ever need some help with packages, I don't mind :) I get a great turn around from the US and Europe, so if I can help. Just ask.

I work with a lovely Polish girl who can speak Czech and all the patients I have seen with her have been lovely (well there have been one or two who weren't so happy - lol- but I work in a Hospital- WHO is happy there LOL!) I can speak little Polish but have not learnt any Czech yet. Marta (the polish women I work with) said to me that Polish can understand Czech easier than the other way round- I know its a different dialect and such- but is there truth behind that? I thought that if Polish can understand Czech, surely it must be mutual? Marta can speak Russian too- and I can hear similarities in Polish and Russian words.... The reason I ask is, that I have thoroughly enjoyed learning Polish (I work with a Portuguese guy and I FIND THAT SO HARD T O LEARN! Lol!!!) so ... I was asking of your opinion on that?

But sure, if you do have a few troubles, I really don't mind helping out. We can always sort it out by paypal or even just a favour in return. I appreciate that it can be difficult to get packages sometimes. I used to live in Cyprus. NOTHING went out there! LOL. :)

I think it depends on where you live. I live just 2 km away from the Polish border and I grew up watching Polish TV - Sesame Street in Polish, yay! - so I understand them just fine. I can't really talk Polish but I do understand it. Though I have a friend who lives on the other side of the town and she doesn't understand them at all. I always considered that rather funny :D

Exactly! I'm still waiting for my Street Justice DVDs to arrive. I have no idea if it's the post office holding them hostage or the customs control X( I'm so looking forward to them.

Nope, I don't mind at all :) The fact that we disagreed on one thing doesn't mean that we are enemies for life :P Even friends are entitled to have different opinions.
