Actually no, not really. I still think that strikes are wrong because they hit innocent people most - like Jared said, they lost some great crew members because they couldn't just wait for the strike to resolve itself since their wages were not covered by the WGA fund.

If the strike ended in December, I would say great, hurray. But as it is, this season is basically destroyed. Kripke himself said that there would be three eps max and that he has no intention to resolve Dean's deal this season.

So, the damage is done. But if the strike ends this week or the next, writers would still have the time to write the scripts for new TV shows. And with the CW's love for our show...

So, because of this strike, we will get 7 eps less than we would get otherwise, the plotline is not resolved but S4 is as uncertain as the year before. If the show is not renewed, which is a good possibility on the CW, we will get no closure, no real ending. And so I would like for the strike to do us at least some good, going long enough for the writers to not be able to finish scripts for the pilots because then, the CW would have to renew the show.
