That spoiler made me bounce like Tiger! I mean, yay! I love psychics! I feared that they would go all Earth: Final Conflict on us and turn Sam into an ordinary guy. I mean, he is cool, psychic or not, but all those creepy powers... *hugs herself*

I'm in the minority here, but the spoiler made me sad, this is not the show I signed for, Super!Sam and poor!useless!onlytherefornothing!Dean. I've seen it a couple of times during season 2 and that made me really sad.

I, it made me happy. They gave Sam powers so they should stick with it. I hate it when TPTBs pull such a crap like with Earth: Final Conflict. I like psychic!Sam because Sam usually turns psychic when he wants to protect Dean. I hear people say that this isn't the show they started watching. But Sam already had visions in S1 so he already was psychic. And I can't see Kripke turning the brothers against each other, which is what people fear. So I'm quite happy about this spoiler :)

Not that I haven't been hoping for a resolution for the strike but now I really, really want it. If only the studio's would stop being so freaking idiotic. *crosses fingers* *and toes*

It is awesome, isn't it? That's why I'm so pissed seeing people whine about it like it's the end of the world. "God deliver us of Sam going evil." *rolls eyes* I mean, I think this is a great character development and I'm happy that they didn't abandon this psychic idea like it never existed. THAT would piss me off! I mean, it's cute to call Sam a puppy in icons but I would hate to see him behave like a puppy. He's a kick-ass guy, for pete's sake, not some baby doll! *huffs*

Dude yes! I got so pissy when I heard all these complaints about Sam going evil and such and it's like c'mon! That's *awesome* character development and it's not like the bro's are gonna loose their woobie. *snicker*

I mean he's definitely grown as a character since season one and I like him *more* now than I did when it began. He can't always stay in that... I guess little brother mold. Can't always have Dean taking care of the hard stuff. Exactly not a baby doll, not fragile or... whatever. He's a strong *man* and it would be a shame if he stopped acting like it.

What bothers me is not that they turning Sam into a psychic, because yeah he already was, and I don't think this is about them turning against each other.

What bothers me is that I love the show about two brothers fighting evil together as equals, and if Sam turns into a Jake 2.0, this won't be the case.

I just don't get why it has to be psychic=strong, non-psychic=weak. I mean, the only thing keeping Sam from turning evil - besides his own will that is - is Dean. All Sam does is to save innocents but especially Dean. I mean, it was pretty much established this season that Sam can't go on without Dean. As strong as he is, he's nothing without his brother and that goes both ways. That's why I don't get all the negativity *shakes head*

Obviously, people think that once Sam gets his powers back, he won't need Dean, Dean will be weak and useless, the side-kick of a superhero. I just don't get it. This isn't about who the mightier hero is, it's about family holding together! Dean is the one holding Sam together! Because he's human and has no powers, he's suddenly a weakling? I just don't get it!

It doesn't have to be, Angel was a show that proved that, but it is how they portray it on Supernatural.

And I personally am not pessimistic, I am rather a realist and just go with what I see.

But well, we see things differently, and that's fine.
