The promo for ep 3x09 was posted on YouTube! Oh my, oh wow! That looks awesome! *runs in circles*

And TVAddict posted an article about the CW's decision to move Reaper into Supernatural's Thursday slot. I wouldn't see it as black-dark-doom-ish as the article's author but it's true that the people in charge do sound awfully bouncy about their decision. I think that they just fear that Reaper would be totally crushed by American Idol on Tuesday. But why not air Supernatural's repeats there at least?

But as I said to janglyjewels - who posted the link to this article *hugs the girl* :) - I think that SPN's - and Reapers's too - renewal depends on Smallville's return. If SV comes back, than only one of those shows will be renewed. If it doesn't come back than the CW will renew both shows no matter the ratings. The CW can't lose two scripted shows with no pilots to air - as of yet at least.

On the other hand, it's the CW. Logic isn't their strongest virtue.

There was a mention that this is SV's last season but i don't think it will affect SPN.

I think that the CW would like to continue it but Mike stated that it was his last season. Kristen wanted out last year already. They could maybe convince Tom but without the other two... Nya nya. I think it would be best if they renewed both SPN and Reaper and aired them on Thursday. Reaper at 8 PM, SPN at 9. I think that these two shows are more compatible than either of them with SV.

They will be renewed and the SV's ending which depends on the strike will make good to SPN's ratings because more people will be interest to see the show and 'not just an other show after SV'
