For me, this episode was made by two scenes: the Bing Crosby and "it's my last year" scene and the last one... Aww... I was hard pressed not to cry and in the end, I actually did.

Jared did an amazing job in this ep. First the whole "I can't do it" speech and then the too loud, too bright voice in the last scene. It felt like he had to laugh loud and talk loud or cry otherwise...

And Jensen. Aww... The scenes where he tried to oh so subtly push Sam to have a Christmas with him were heartbreaking. He's such an amazing actor!

"Easter Bunny is Jewish!" :D I bet that there will be a lot of people bashing Dean for being xenophobic *rolls eyes*

And the necklace! The amulet is from Sam! And Dean's been wearing it all the years!

I was glad that they could keep the actor who played young!Dean - yay for continuity :D

Amazing, gory, touching ep!

Supernatural: 3.20 mil. viewers! Yay! *dances merrily*
Smallville: 3.84 mil. Huh, and that was a new episode too O.o

Dude he's so *pretty* this season. I don't know why but suddenly every epi this season I have to mention just how gorgeous he is.

And I seriously loved it. It was the Christmas that tv shows always strive for and really never get and SPN hit it on the head. First try. Just that intimate, loving feeling and- *sniffle*

and OH GOD, Sam and Dean *caroling*. *hysterical laughter*

I always laugh when Jensen pretends that he can't sing. He has such a nice voice! :D

And the ratings, girl, the ratings! 3.20 mil. viewers in the fast nationals! Only 600 000 less than Smallville! And they used to be like 2 mil. apart! O.O That made me so happy :D

Dude that *is* awesome. And SV rocked this epi as well (very twisty and fixed things and goddamn how do they -very nearly- always manage to do that?). I just hope this isn't the last epi of the season because I seriously need more of the boys now.

There will be 4 more eps of SPN and I think 6 more eps of SV.

I'm totally spoiled for SPN and let me tell you, these episodes will be AWESOME! Unfortunately, the next one won't be aired until Jan. 31st :( I need to re-watch the whole show from the beginning!

Heh. I would but my season 1 dvd's got all chewed by a friends dog. :( She's buying me new one's but still, my babies!

Oh good, I was sure there was but I wasn't... completely secure in that knowledge y'know? Heh suprisingly I'm not spoiled which is... new I usually am *shrugs*

Well actually that doesn't bug me, I've got PSYCH. *dance* New epi's on Jan 11! And plus I don't mind a break and SPN will be a nice pressie for going back to *urg* school.

Hehe, for me, SPN is the alpha and omega of all my shows. Psych, Chuck and Blood Ties are tied on the second place, I think. And then there is NCIS, Bones and Numb3rs of course :D

If I really had to pick I'd say that my favorite show on tv at the moment would be Wire In The Blood. And the greatest show ever to be shown on tv would be Nero Wolfe.

Dude, I can't even order the other one's I just kinda love them all, y'know?

Also with NCIS, everytime I see the dvd covers I think the older gentlemen looks a helluva lot like an older John Barrowman.

I tried Wire in the Blood but I just couldn't get into it. I watched the first two eps with the crazy guy who dressed as a woman and killed men... Too psycho :D

I usually don't watch TV shows for the plot but for the characters. And I just adore the brotherly schmoop in this one :D

In the one from 1981 there is Lee Horsley playing the part of Tim Hutton. Oh my, how I loved Lee Horsley in "Matt Houston" *drools*

It was *bad*. Bad casting and they weren't exactly faithful to the books. Of course not to say the actors were bad it's just they were wrong for the parts and they tried to soften Wolfe's attitude and just *yuck*.

Lets put it this way, the people (Timothy Hutton was involved hugely bringing this to the screen) involved in the 2001 version loved and stayed faithful to the books like Peter Jackson loved Lord of the Rings.

And let me tell you I am a giant LOTR fan. So that is a *huge* complimant from me. So you can watch the '81 one if you want but trust me when I say that the characters of Nero and Archie and everyone aren't there. It's Maury and Timothy who do them to perfection.

omg I loved the Christmas SPN ep!! I watched at my gma's house on her big screen tv ((this tv: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1103/Creamie/IRLPics/ambers009.jpg ))

The "caroling" was hilarious!! I loved the brotherly moments and the flashbacks...oh and wee!Sam has big!Sam's bitchface down perfect!!!! I about died seeing that same expression XD It was the perfect mix of creepy and sappy....I loved that we finally got to see where Dean's amulet came from and that it was from Sam **awwww face**

Some people said that it was too funny. I don't think so. I mean, it was really touchy in places and if there was no humor, it would be too heavy and that would wear people out quickly :(
