Oh god...

[livejournal.com profile] astri13 pointed me in the direction of the CW Source's interview with Sera Gamble. They talk about episode 13 that they were working on when they had to stop because of the strike so beware of SPOILERS. But after what I just read... *shakes head*

Apparently, the whole episode is about Bela's oh so tragic background. Oh god, this show really is turning into One Three Hill with misunderstood little girls who only desire to be loved! Bela's a bitch, let her be a bitch! Keep her at least consistent.

Oh, and Sera also sings songs about the new girls but especially about Bela, how valuable Bela would be to the boys if she just cared and how she's grateful for the support fans showed to the character. Excuse me? Does she even read the reviews? People who answered to this interview made their opinions known pretty loudly, let me tell you. I hope that Sera and Kripke take the time to read them.

Maybe the strike will actually make them think about what they are doing!

Do not want! Do not pass, do not collect $10. Bela is fine as she is, which is a human villain. We want Sam and Dean, damnit!

Sera Gamble must have taken a stupid pill. Or else she's completely ignorant. Or something. o__O

I don't like her but I could accept her as an antagonist. They set her up as their enemy and I hate it that they suddenly want us to sympatize with her. She already was a walking talking cliché and this is way overdoing it X(

Yeah. Kripke at least knows that fans don't like the girls. Sera lives in a fantasy world of her own. I mean, in the interview, she said that she wanted the boys to talk about Nietzsche and some German poem about how terrifying angels are but Kripke stopped her. Is he the only sensible guy there or what? O.o I bet that Sera and Ostroff are on the same wavelength there.

I agree with one of the commenters from that interview - I dislike Bela as a person, but I like her character and how it works in the show. She is evil, and she should stay evil. No sob past will change it for me. And I really don't know how they plan on doing that anyway. Evil monster killed her brother/mother/uncle/dog, cue the tragic music? Boohoo, cry me a river. So I am okay with Bela background showing up, but I don't think there is a way for her to be redeemed.
