You remember me talking about the book "Hellgate: Exodus" by Mel Odom? Here is a link to the trailer for the PC Game Hellgate that inspired said book - or was it vice versa? O.o I'm not sure now. The trailer basically describes the whole book :D Get in, kick the demons' asses, get out...
Studios begin legal action against strikers...
The studios initially believed that show runners would proceed with their nonwriting duties, but what they're finding is that most of them are out on the sidewalk joining in the WGA chants. (...) The letters informed the show runners that their pay is being suspended, and at least in 20th Century Fox's case, the letters specifically said it is for failure to "report to work and render their nonwriting producing services.
So, if the CW decides to do the same, Kripke and Gamble are going to get their butts kicked by TPTB... Which might even mean the end of the whole show.
I'm not saying that it's the writers' fault, I'm not saying it's the studios' fault. I know zip about the reasons the sides have for their actions. But people get fired and they have nothing to do with the writers, honest working crew members. As Kripke said, he is doing his best to defend his crew but now, even his own job might be in danger.
I hope that the strike's results are worth it...
